Kyle Bolton joined the TCU Horned Frogs’ staff as an Assistant Director of Football Human Performance
in January of 2022. Bolton oversees the Horned Frogs football field work and speed development.
Bolton comes to Fort Worth after one season as an Assistant Athletic Performance Coach at the
University of California, Berkeley, where he worked with the Bears’ football program.
Prior to joining the staff at Cal Berkeley, Bolton served as the Director of Athletic Performance
Operations at Arkansas State University from 2019 - 2021. While at Arkansas State Bolton was tasked
with training multiple sports, including, football, track & field, and bowling.
From 2017 – 2019 Bolton was the Director of Football Strength and Conditioning and Wide Receivers
Coach for NAIA powerhouse Baker University.
Bolton was a member of the Athletic Performance staff at Baylor University from 2015 -2016 as an
Assistant Athletics Performance Coach, where he worked with football, track & field, and softball.
Getting his foot in the door coaching, Bolton worked at a private facility, Prolific Athletes, in San Diego,
California. At Prolific Athletes, Bolton prepared collegiate football players for the NFL Combine.
After graduating from Baker University (NAIA), Bolton had a short stint with the Minnesota Vikings in the
NFL, followed by a season in the CFL with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and a season in the AFL with the
LA Kiss.
A standout wide receiver at Baker, Bolton earned All Heart of America Conference honors for the
Wildcats and was selected as an NAIA All American Honorable Mention. He received his bachelor’s
degree from Baker in sociology with conflict management and physical education minors. He went on to
earn his master’s degree at Baker in sports management while serving as the Director of Football
Strength and Conditioning.
A native of Oceanside, California, Kyle and his wife Paige now reside in the Fort Worth area.
